Early tornado sighting in central Nebraska on Friday

SPALDING, Neb. -- While eastern Nebraska was in severe weather warnings for the longest period of Friday evening, central Nebraska took its share of heavy damage.

Spalding, in rural Greeley County, was among the first to go under a tornado warning on Friday.

The central Nebraska locations was home to an early tornado sighting, with several people capturing a large funnel on video.

It was the first of approximately 20 tornado sightings in Nebraska on Friday.
