HARVARD, Neb. -- A stabbing in central Nebraska is being investigated after the victim died on the way to the hospital.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office said they got a 911 call for a report of a stabbing at 8 p.m. on Saturday in Harvard.

Officers said they were sent to a home in the 500 block of 4th Ave. They found 30-year-old Kristaff Gonzalez reportedly suffering from several stab wounds.

The Nebraska State Patrol said Gonzalez was taken to a nearby hospital but died on the way there.
