RED CLOUD, Neb. -- A central Nebraska woman is in custody after an alleged stabbing incident in Bladen.

According to the Webster County Sheriff's Office, authorities were called to a reported domestic disturbance on Main Street in Bladen just before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The sheriff's office said a man had been stabbed twice in the arm by a woman, with the man stating that the woman left the home and was walking west on O Street. The man identified the suspect as 32-year-old Holly Hartman.

Authorities contacted Silver Lake Elementary School and informed them of the situation, with the school going into a lock out scenario.

The Webster County Sheriff's Office and the Nebraska State Patrol conducted a search of the area for Hartman.

Shortly after noon Tuesday, officers knocked on the door of a home on O Street. No one answered the door at the time, according to the Webster County Sheriff's Office, but authorities reportedly observed Hartman standing on the porch of the residence 15 minutes later.

Hartman was then taken into custody without incident, and the lock out was lifted at the school. She was taken to the Webster County Community Hospital before being booked and lodged at the Webster County Jail.

The man involved in the incident was taken to Mary Lanning Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
