GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A Grand Island man is behind bars after police said he stole or damaged more than a dozen Ring security cameras.

Police responded to a call of a man throwing things and breaking things at the Blackstone Apartments just before midnight yesterday.

Officers found 31-year-old Kon Kot inside standing around broken glass with the Ring cameras laying next to him.

An investigation showed that he ripped down and damaged 15 cameras at the apartment complex and broke a glass light covering.

Kot is not a resident of the complex and officers said he entered the building with the intent of damaging and stealing property.

He was arrested for burglary and resisting arrest.
