HASTINGS, NE — The Nebraska American Legion announced that Duncan Field and Hastings American Legion will host the 2023 Nebraska American Legion Senior State Tournament - National Division from July 22nd through the 26th. Hastings Five Points Bank will be the host team for the tournament.

"We are excited to host the 2023 American Legion State Tournament at Duncan Field. With its history and recent improvements, we feel like Duncan Field is one of the premier American Legion Baseball fields not only in Nebraska but the country,” Hastings Baseball officials said in a news release. “We can't wait to host Nebraska's best, and for the city of Hastings to have a chance to come out and support our Hastings Five Points Bank team as they compete for a state title." 

Hastings last hosted a Senior State Tournament in 2015.  This will be the 10th senior-level state tournament Duncan Field and Hastings have hosted. Duncan Field also hosted the Mid-South American Legion Regional in 2019 and 2021. It has hosted 22 American Legion Regional/Sectional tournaments and has hosted the American Legion World Series four times.
