KEARNEY, NE — One of country music’s biggest names is coming to Central Nebraska this summer.

The Buffalo County Fair announced Friday that Jon Pardi will perform on Saturday of fair week in Kearney. The concert will be July 29th at the LandMark Implement Arena. Showtime is scheduled for 7:30.

“Pardi is a performer and Saturday night will be a party you don’t want to miss,” Manager Dave Roseberry said.

Pardi, 37, owns two ACM Album of the Year nominees, including 2020’s “Heartache Medication.” His most recent album, “Mr. Saturday Night,” was released in September and spawned the top five hit “Last Night Lonely”. The tune was his fifth to reach the top five of the US Country charts following “Head over Boots,” “Dirt on My Boots,” “Heartache on the Dance Floor,” and “Heartache Medication.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 13 at 10:00 A.M. via etix.

The fair previously announced country singer Jo Dee Messina as the headliner of its Friday night show. A not-yet-announced special guest is expected to join Pardi.
