UNK volleyball moves up one spot to #7
The UNK volleyball team stays in the top 10 of the NCAA Division II coaches' poll, moving up to No. 7 in the latest rankings.

KEARNEY, Neb. -- The UNK volleyball team rebounded from its lone loss of the season, a five-set thriller against then-No. 2 Washburn, to score two big wins last week. For their efforts, UNK moved up one spot to No. 7 in the latest AVCA NCAA Division II Coaches poll.
The Lopers are one of two Nebraska volleyball programs in the Division II coaches' poll, with Wayne State receiving the top spot in the rankings this week.
UNK got back on the winning track last week by beating Newman and Central Oklahoma. The Lopers' win over Central Oklahoma was the Bronchos' first loss of the season.
The Lopers remain at home on Monday with a matchup against in-state foe, York. UNK will be back on the road for MIAA play with matches at Missouri Western and Central Missouri on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
UNK has dominated its competition for much of the season, outhitting its opponents by a .284 to .134 margin.
Alliance native Emersen Cyza leads the Lopers' attack with a team-high 151 kills. North Platte graduate Peyton Neff helps facilitate much of the Lopers' attack with a team-leading 463 assists. Neff has also added 16 service aces.
