Kearney Police: Indiana man arrested for 10+ pounds of marijuana

An Indiana man is behind bars after authorities say he had more than 10 pounds of marijuana in his car.

KEARNEY, NE — An Indiana man is behind bars after authorities say he had more than 10 pounds of marijuana in his car.

Kearney Police say officers pulled over a car for speeding on Interstate 80 around 7:00 Wednesday night. A news release says officers observed signs of criminal activity and deployed a K-9 unit. Officers found 10.5 pounds of marijuana and a small amount of LSD in the vehicle.

52-year-old Benjamin Rodway of Jefferson, Indiana was arrested on suspicion of felony drug charges. He is being held in the Buffalo County Jail.
