Grand Island man arrested, accused of domestic abuse for fourth time

A Grand Island man is behind bars after police say he was arrested for domestic assault for a fourth time.

GRAND ISLAND, NE — A Grand Island man is behind bars after police say he was arrested for domestic assault for a fourth time.

Police say 32-year-old Joshua Knuth was holding down and threatening his wife while she held a small child. Our news partners at KSNB Local 4 report that officers used a TASER weapon to arrest him.

Knuth was booked on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault fourth offense, false imprisonment, resisting arrest and child abuse.

Knuth most recently served a 90-day jail sentence for a 2019 domestic abuse conviction.
