Murder suspect pleads not guilty on Tuesday

A Grand Island murder suspect, charged with threatening a Hall County Jail employee, pled not guilty on Tuesday.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A Grand Island murder suspect, charged with threatening a Hall County Jail employee, pled not guilty on Tuesday. 

According to officials, 34-year-old Donald Anthony is charged with first-degree murder and two weapons charges for the February stabbing death of Said Farah. 

Anthony is also charged with terroristic threats for an incident at the Hall County Jail. 

An affidavit states Anthony threatened to have fellow gang members, the Latin Kings, kill the officer and his family. 

Anthony later claimed that he didn't know what he said because he "blacked out" in pain. 

His next court hearing is in July of this year.
