HASTINGS, NE - A good Samaritan in Hastings is being credited with saving two lives.

Adams County Emergency management tells our news partners at KSNB Local 4 that two wheelchair-bound people were inside an apartment in the 200 block of C St. Monday night when a fire sparked.

A neighbor from across the street ran in and saved them along with their dog. Ten minutes later, the roof collapsed.

Two units have been impacted with the residents all being displaced. The American Red Cross is available to help with relocation.
