GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A Grand Island man's criminal case related to a plot to kill a corrections officer is headed to trial.

A judge, Monday, found probable cause to send 34-year-old Donald Anthony to trial.

According to court documents, a Hall County Corrections official told members of the Sheriff's office in March that Anthony threatened he would get fellow members of the Latin Kings Gang to kill the officer and his family.

Anthony has claimed he was blacked out from pain at the time and doesn't recall what was said.

He already faces murder charges related to the February stabbing death of Said Farah.
