Grand Island man dies after fleeing a car crash
A central Nebraska man has died from his injuries after he fled from the scene of an accident Wednesday night.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - A central Nebraska man has died from his injuries after he fled from the scene of an accident Wednesday night.
Grand Island Police responded to a car accident around 9 p.m. in the 2400 W. Division. On arrival, officers found that a car had hit at least one other unoccupied car then rolled on its top.
Police said the vehicle was unoccupied and the driver had fled.
Within minutes, police responded to a 911 call on West 1st. Officers found the driver collapsed and dead at the scene.
The man was identified as 42-year-old Leslie Brokaw, of Grand Island.
An investigation is still ongoing.
