Police identify Grand Island homicide victim

Police continue to investigate a murder from Tuesday morning in Grand Island.

GRAND ISLAND, NE — Police continue to investigate a murder from Tuesday morning in Grand Island.

Authorities announced on Thursday that 30-year-old Said Abdullahi Farah of Grand Island was the victim. Officials completed an autopsy on Wednesday and awaiting the results. Police don’t think that any possible suspects are randomly targeting victims.

According to our news partners at KSNB Local4, police responded to a call at an apartment complex in the 300 block of South Pine Street around 6:00 AM on Tuesday. Abdullahi Farah had suffered an apparent puncture wound and was dead by the time first responders arrived.
