HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Some folks in Adams County ate pancakes for a good cause Sunday. The Nebraska Farm Bureau held a pancake feed at the Adams County Fairground.

Where people were able to come to the community service building, for coffee juice and of course pancakes.

Proceeds from the event will go towards local FFA chapters, and the Adams County 4H program.

Organizers of the event say they like to provide funds to help these programs thrive.

“Yeah this pancake we have had for the second year in a row, its a huge deal for our youth. As for Adams Western County Farm Bureau to help provide financial help to the 4H FFA for jackets projects etc. is an awesome opportunity for us,” event organizer Andy Blessin said.

Kids from the various programs helped serve the food.
