GI Fire Department responds to garage fire

Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a garage in Grand Island late Sunday.

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a garage in Grand Island late Sunday. 

Grand Island Fire said they were called to the scene on the 1000 Block of West Louise Street just after 10 p.m.

Authorities said they could see heavy flames coming from the inside of a detached garage. 

The fire was out after about 30 minutes. Authorities said that no one was hurt.
