One person hospitalized after Lexington house fire

LEXINGTON, Neb. -- A woman was hospitalized after a house fire in central Nebraska.

The Dawson County Sheriff's Office says the call came in just before noon Thursday at a home in Lexington.

Authorities say a woman was taken from the home in unknown condition and later transported to the hospital.

The state fire marshal's office is now investigating the cause of the fire.
