BEATRICE - A Kansas junior college administrator will become the next Southeast Community College Campus Director in Beatrice.

Dr. Brett Bright will become Vice President of Program Development, Beatrice Campus Director and Athletic Administrator, on September 1st.

Bright is the current Vice President of Student Services at Hutchinson, Kansas Community College.    His selection by SCC is the result of an extensive hiring search to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of long-time Beatrice Campus Director and Vice President of Program Development, Bob Morgan.

Beatrice Campus faculty and staff were notified Thursday that Dr. Bright has accepted the position.

SCC administration conducted a series of interviews with candidates during what was described as an extensive search that drew numerous applicants for the position.
