Marcus Baptiste Signs with Peru State Football

Peru State football coach Casey Creehan recently announced that Marcus Baptiste (Bellevue) signed his national letter of intent to join the Bobcat football program this fall.

(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State football coach Casey Creehan recently announced that Marcus Baptiste (Bellevue) signed his national letter of intent to join the Bobcat football program this fall.
 
The 6'0, 160-pound wide receiver recently graduated from Bellevue West High School. Baptiste and his Thunderbird teammates went 6-1 in the fall of 2020. Bellevue West won their first playoff game in Class A over Lincoln Southwest before falling to Kearney in overtime in a second-round match-up.

Baptiste will be working towards a business administration degree with a minor in marketing.
