Huse officially approved as Douglas County Health Director

The newest Douglas County Health Director was officially approved Tuesday morning.

OMAHA, Neb. -- The newest Douglas County Health Director was officially approved Tuesday morning.

The county's board approved the hiring of Lindsay Huse, giving the metro area a replacement for the retiring Adi Pour.

Huse is leaving her current position as Chief of Public Health Nursing for the state of Wyoming.

She will begin her new job July 7 and make $160,000 a year.
