Severe thunderstorm warnings in effect in parts of Nebraska

Severe thunderstorm warnings have expired in Cedar, Madison, Stanton and Clay Counties in Nebraska, but new warnings have been issued in Saline and Seward Counties.

OMAHA, Neb. – Severe thunderstorm warnings have expired in Cedar, Madison, Stanton and Clay Counties in Nebraska, but new warnings have been issued in Saline and Seward Counties.

Portions of Nebraska are seeing golf ball sized hail and winds as high as 60 mph.

Damage to property is highly likely. The National Weather Service advises moving to the basement of your home if possible.
