CDC review finds Nebraska death unrelated to vaccine
The CDC’s full review of the death of Nebraska man who had received a COVID-19 vaccine is complete.
LINCOLN, Neb. -- The CDC’s full review of the death of Nebraska man who had received a COVID-19 vaccine is complete.
The CDC says they didn’t find evidence that the vaccine contributed to the man’s death, saying in their opinion it was “coincidental.”
The Department of Health and Human Services says a man in his late 40s, a long-term care facility resident with a number of co-morbidities, died between one and two weeks after receiving his first dose of a coronavirus vaccine.
The death was initially entered into a national vaccine safety surveillance program run by CDC and the FDA.
