Imperial man arrested after child pornography investigation

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested an Imperial man following an investigation into child pornography. 

On Tuesday, March 16, investigators arrested Bill Whitlow, 53, of Imperial, for possession and distribution of child pornography. The investigation began when NSP received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. 

Investigators served a search warrant on a residence at 211 W. 5^th Street in Imperial last week. That search resulted in the discovery of child pornography possessed by Whitlow. Whitlow was lodged in Chase County Jail.
