GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - There are more shake-ups from the Nebraska State Fair.

The Nebraska State Fair Board met Friday to approve the 2021 budget, and one board member resigned after raising concerns over how finances are being handled.

The budget for 2021 is set to be significantly less than in previous years.

Board member Jeremy Jensen still had questions he wanted answered before approval. He brought up the fact that close to 50 percent of the fair's money comes from the state and Grand Island.

Jensen also said Friday he would be resigning from the board over his frustrations with transparency and calls for change.
