Weather service discouraging burning Monday

By News Channel NebraskaSIDNEY - A red flag warning remains in effect until 5 p.m. Monday for Cheyenne, Kimball, Banner, Scottsbluff, Box Butte and Morrill Counties in the Nebraska panhandle.
This means critical fire weather conditions are occurring. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior, according to the meteorologists at the National Weather Service office in Cheyenne. They recommend no outdoor burning on Monday.
Winds will be sustained out of the west, northwest at 12-18 mph, with gusts to 25 mph. Humidity will be at 12-15%. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 50s.
