NORFOLK, NE -- Mayor Josh Moenning and City Council of Norfolk will vote on a mask mandate this coming Monday at 12 p.m.

The penalty for non-mask wearing will be fined $25 per offense.

The cover must cover one's nose and mouth completely and must not be made of mesh or have holes. It must cover any individual who is more than five years old.

The rule would not apply to those at food areas or giving speeches or engaging in public safety (such as firefighters). These persons must have a mask at their disposal, though.
