It's no secret that some key Democrats have turned their backs on Congressional hopeful Kara Eastman, insisting she's too far left; most significantly former Congressman Brad Ashford.

Less attention though has been given to those conservatives who complain that GOP Congressman Don Bacon is not conservative enough. Complaints tied to Bacon’s views on immigration; listen to KFAB Radio and Chris Baker's afternoon talk show in June, 2019.

Baker: My email exploded last night after the House of Representatives passed a big fat stinky amnesty bill known as the American Dream and Promise Act. What a fluffy BS name. What if you just called it the amnesty; the overwhelming the system; the olly, olly oxen free for every other illegal immigrant that’s thinking about coming up here. Why don’t you call it that? Congressman Don Bacon voted for this piece of legislation."

Why? Well according to Bacon he voted for the bill “bad flaws” and all to help keep “DACA youth” the so-called dreamers, out of “no man's land.”

Caller to the Baker show: This is about changing the makeup of the United States. I called Congressman Bacon's office today and let them know I was very, very upset. What you do is very simple, you shut down the border.

Baker: We’re getting laughed at we're getting ignored we're getting laughed at.

Caller to the Baker show: We have to just replace everybody in the House and Senate if we can.

Baker: Well alright, I’m down with that.
