Carolina on his mind: Von Miller targets Dec. 13 return

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Broncos pass rusher Von Miller is targeting a Dec. 13 return in Carolina.

Miller had surgery in September to fix a dislodged tendon in his left foot.

The 31-year-old Miller was primed for a big season after an offseason fueled by a substandard 2019 and a recovery from his battle with COVID-19.

He suffered the freak injury on Sept. 8. He was hurt on the last play of practice as the team worked inside due to a snowstorm.
