Buffalo Roam In Phelps County

If you're in Southern Nebraska today, keep your eyes peeled for some buffalo.

ATLANTA, NE - If you're in Southern Nebraska today, keep your eyes peeled for some buffalo.

A heard was spotted roaming around after getting loose from a lot Wednesday morning.

The Nebraska State Patrol says they are generally in the area of Holdrege, Loomis, and Atlanta.

The Phelps County Sheriff's Office is leading efforts to corral the animals.

But if you see any buffalo that strayed away from the group, authorities are asking you to give them a call and help them out.
