MORRILL, Neb. The Village of Morrill’s Swimming Pool will open to the public on Monday with restrictions.

These rules and restrictions include;

• If you are sick, stay home. If you come to the pool with a cough, sneeze or runny nose, staff will ask you to leave and come back another day.

• Staff can operate up to 25% of their capacity which is 32 people for the big pool and only ten people in the baby pool. This does include parents, grandparents, babysitters or caretakers.

• Patrons who are not swimming will need to sit outside of the fenced area. Staff highly recommends you bring chairs, blankets, etc. to sit on.

• When you come to the pool, staff would like you to be dressed and ready to get into the pool. You will still need to take a shower before you enter the pool but staff is wanting to eliminate extra time in the bathrooms.

• Everyone must sign in when entering the pool.

• Anyone under the age of ten must be accompanied by an adult or daycare provider.

• Staff would like to see families and individuals purchase passes this year instead of paying cash on a daily basis. This will eliminate handling cash and spreading of germs.

• Staff will not be selling snacks this year, but feel free to bring your own for your family only. Please take care of your garbage and clean up after yourself.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm with a break at 3:00pm and 6:00 to 7:30pm.

Saturday and Sunday from 1:00pm to 7:00pm with a break at 3:00pm and 5:00pm.

At break, staff asks that all swimmers exit the pool area and wait outside of the fence.

This is so staff can properly disinfect the pool area that complies with COVID-19 regulations.

Please be patient with all of them.

This is not their usual circumstances for our pool to operate.

It is new, it is different, and it is not the norm.

First opening day will be June 8th.

If you have any questions, please contact the pool at (308) 247-3340 or the Village Office.
