SCOTTSBLUFF - The impact of George Floyd's death is continuing to impact various communities across Nebraska.

A candlelight vigil was held in Scottsbluff on Sunday evening, where more than a dozen people gathered to voice the need for social change. The demonstrators brought signs saying things such as "Black Lives Matter" and "Your Fight Is My Fight".

Similar peaceful protests took place in Nebraska's smaller cities over the weekend, including North Platte, Kearney, Norfolk, and Grand Island.
