City issues notice about Columbus, Roselawn cemeteries

The city said it wants to keep Roselawn and Columbus cemeteries looking their best through the Memorial Day holiday season.

News release:

In the interest of keeping Roselawn and Columbus Cemeteries looking their very best through the Memorial Day Holiday Season, reusable wreaths and floral displays not in permanent vases should be removed from the graves prior to Monday, June 1, 2020. Beginning that day cemetery staff will start mowing and trimming the cemetery grounds. Cut flowers will be removed during that week as they become wilted and no longer add to the appearance of the cemeteries.
