BEATRICE – A Beatrice woman has been ordered to serve a 3-to-5-year prison term for attempted delivery of a hazardous drug.
60-year-old Darla Little was sentenced in Gage County District Court Thursday morning. Five other charges were dismissed in a plea agreement.

Little was arrested last February 11th, after police served a search warrant on an apartment at 1700 Park Street in Beatrice. Little and others were found to be smoking methamphetamine in the apartment, while a two-year-old child was present.
During the investigation, police said Little told officers that she gets about 5.6 grams of methamphetamine a week and sells about one-fourth of it.

A woman whose mother is serving a prison sentence had her probation revoked Thursday but is being allowed to remain on probation.
The Gage County District Judge sentenced 33-year-old Kristy Forke to a three-year probation term, a $100 fine and payment of court costs.
Forke earlier had been convicted of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her mother, 55-year-old Cindy Forke, was sentenced last May to 6-to-8 years in state prison for attempted distribution of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.

Kristy Forke was arrested last June by Wymore Police, having been observed using a knife to cut wiring from camping spots at Arbor State Park. A search of Forke’s backpack turned up a methamphetamine pipe with residue that tested positive, for meth.

In a third Gage County District Court case Thursday, 40-year-old Aaron Burr, of Blue Springs had his probation term revoked and was sentenced to 365 days in Gage County Jail. He was given credit for 212 days spent in custody. The probation term had been given on two counts of attempt of a felony.
