Lourdes sweeps HTRS

Lourdes Central Catholic travels to Pawnee City on Tuesday night, while HTRS heads to Freeman High School.

NEBRASKA CITY - Lourdes Central Catholic forced 38 HTRS turnovers and the Knights defeated the Titans, 55-24, Friday night in Nebraska City.

Libby Baumert finished 12 points and 3 rebounds. Gina McGowen added 8 points and 5 rebounds. 

Kaitlyn Glathar had a game-high 13 points and 7 rebounds for HTRS.

Meanwhile, the Lourdes boys basketball team built a 41-13 halftime lead and cruised to a 59-24 win over the Titans. 

Blake Miller led all scorers with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Max Baumert finished in double figures with 12 points. 

Isaiah Lockard led HTRS with 11 points and 2 rebounds.
