Omaha Middle School Principal on Leave

Omaha Public Schools confirmed that the principal at Beveridge Magnet Middle School is on leave.

OMAHA - Omaha Public Schools confirmed that the principal at Beveridge Magnet Middle School is on leave.

In a letter to parents, human resources said Dr. David Lavender's leave is not related to conduct with students.

 

The district did not release the reason due to privacy laws.

OPS said Michaela Jackson will serve as interim principal.
