Corporate office elects to close Sidney Sonic, Halloween was last day

According to local management, the Sidney Sonic Drive-In location has been closed following a decision from the corporate office. The restaurant's last day was Thursday, October 31.

SIDNEY - According to local management, the Sidney Sonic Drive-In location has been closed following a decision from the corporate office. The restaurant's last day was Thursday, October 31. 

KSID has been in touch with the Media Relations Department for Sonic, and we are currently awaiting an official statement from the company on the matter. Sonic Drive-In is a fast food restaurant company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which is owned by Inspire Brands, the parent company of Arby's and Buffalo Wild Wings. 

The Sidney location on 500 Glover Road has been open since 2014. We will pass along more details once they are released.
