MEADOW GROVE - One person is dead after a two-vehicle accident in Northeast Nebraska.

Multiple agencies responded to the crash west of Meadow Grove on Highway 275 near the Buffalo Creek bridge around 11 a.m. Thursday.

Madison County Sheriff Todd Volk says a 63-year-old woman driving a white van was pronounced dead at the scene.

An 86-year-old man driving the other vehicle was taken to Faith Regional in Norfolk for his injuries.

The Sheriff's Office says neither of the drivers were wearing a seat-belt at the time of the accident.
