Wisner Man Shoots Intruder

WISNER - A Wisner man defends his home from an early morning invader Thursday.
Around 7 a.m. Wisner Police were dispatched to a home with the report of a man trying to enter the premises. Upon arrival the police found the alleged intruder on the ground with a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The man who unlawfully entered the home was shot by the home owner with a pistol.
He was then transported to an Omaha Hospital, where he is reported to be recovering with non-life threatening injuries.
The names have not been released as the case is still under investigation.
