Big Machine Riley Green’s new song, “Numbers on the Cars,” is just one of the tracks on his forthcoming EP, Get That Man a Beer, which is set to come out June 14.
The collection follows his debut #1, “There Was This Girl,” and Riley's new single, “In Love By Now.” Look for a full album from the newcomer before the year’s end.
The Alabama native wrote “Numbers on the Cars” about both his grandfather’s struggle with Alzheimer’s and his love of NASCAR.
“Growing up near the Talladega Superspeedway I used to go over to my grandaddy’s house as a kid and watch the races,” Riley recalls. “He knew every drivers name, number and sponsor and so as the racing season kicks into full gear, it seemed like a perfect time to debut this song.”
This summer, Riley heads out with Brad Paisley on his World Tour, before joining Jon Pardi on his Heartbreak Medication trek in the fall.
