Disaster Recovery Centers open in Nemaha, Richardson Counties

The State of Nebraska and the Federal Emergency Management Agency will open Disaster Recovery Centers for a limited period in Butler, Custer, Nemaha and Richardson Counties.


Center locations are:


» Butler County: Bellwood Volunteer Fire Department, 752 41st Road, Bellwood. Open April 22, 23, 24, 25 and 27.


» Custer County: United Methodist Church, 1000 S. Third Ave., Broken Bow. Open April 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26.


» Nemaha County: Peru State College Campus Services Building, 600 Hoyt St., Peru. Open April 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16.


» Richardson County: City Auditorium, 312 W. 17th St., Falls City. Open April 19, 20, 22, 23 and 24.


At the centers, representatives of FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will provide information on available services, explain assistance programs and help people complete or check the status of their applications.
