One dead after salvage yard explosion

BARTLETT, IA – Fremont County authorities say a person was killed in what was described as an explosion at a Bartlett salvage yard on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were dispatched to J-Dogg Salvage around 12:45 p.m.

Firefighters from Tabor, Thurman and Sidney responded.
