Rick Petri to step down as Kearney Catholic Athletic Director
Petri will become the school’s part-time Director of Finance July 1.
KEARNEY, Neb. — Kearney Catholic announcing a leadership change in its athletics and finance departments.
Rick Petri will step down as Athletic Director at the end of the school year.
He will take on the role of the school’s part-time Director of Finance starting July 1.
For nearly 30 years Petri has led the Stars’ athletic programs, guiding teams to championships, adding new sports, and overseeing major facilities projects like Cope Coliseum and Stars Stadium.
He will oversee financial planning and reporting across the school, the Activities Association, and the KCHS Foundation.
