Leeling clears 6-0½ to finish second in high jump at Big Ten championships

Another big jump for Karsyn. The Nebraska sophomore cleared 6-0½ to finish second in the women’s high jump at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS — Nebraska sophomore Karsyn Leeling placed second in the women’s high jump Saturday at the 2026 Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships at Fall Creek Pavilion.

The Sidney High School graduate cleared 6 feet, ½ inch to earn the runner-up finish. Illinois senior Rose Yeboah won the event with a top clearance of 6-1½.

Nebraska’s Ela Velepec also reached the podium, finishing third with a mark of 5-11¼.
