A meet and greet for a proposed community grief group is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, February 23, at the Sidney Elks Lodge.

Please enter through the west door.

The meeting is to discuss interest in forming a community group, discuss the types of grief represented at the meeting.

No judgement, no telling each other how to "recover."

Loss is part of life none of us truly want to face, but in time we all will. The question now, and then, is how do we deal with it.

We are all part of, or know people who are part of, this stage in life. It is a chapter none of us want, or sought, but here we are. Now that we're here each of us needs to address how to deal with it.

Monday’s meeting will be an opportunity to meet others on a similar journey. It will be an opportunity to share experiences if desired, what kind of meetings, frequency … the dynamics that will make this group what the community needs.
