KEARNEY, Neb. — The Kearney defense came to play on Friday night.<br/><br/>The Bearcats forced five turnovers including a pick-six in their 24-7 playoff victory over Columbus.

KEARNEY, Neb. — The Kearney defense came to play on Friday night.

The Bearcats forced five turnovers including a pick-six in their 24-7 playoff victory over Columbus.

Levi Pohfal forced two of those turnovers with a fumble recovery and an interception. The senior also led Kearney High with 60 yards rushing and a touchdown.

Kearney will face top-seed Omaha Westside in the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 7.
