Man caught with more than 17 pounds of fentanyl in Nebraska traffic stop, deputies say
An Omaha man was arrested after Seward County sheriff’s deputies uncovered 35.2 pounds of drugs during a traffic stop on I-80.
SEWARD COUNTY Neb. (KOLN) - An Omaha man was arrested after Seward County sheriff’s deputies uncovered 35.2 pounds of drugs during a traffic stop on I-80.
Howard Howard, 56, was arrested Monday on suspicion of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
The sheriff’s office said that during a search of Howard’s vehicle, deputies found 17.6 pounds of fentanyl, 13.2 pounds of cocaine and 4.4 pounds of methamphetamine. Deputies also located a loaded .38-caliber revolver.
Howard was taken into custody without incident and was lodged in the Seward County Detention Center.
