Kearney Public Schools owned trailer is stolen

Kearney Police Department is investigating the theft of a Kearney Public Schools owned trailer.

KEARNEY, Neb.— Kearney Police Department is investigating the theft of a Kearney Public Schools owned trailer.

The trailer is a blue Air-Tow 3D-12 trailer that was stolen on June 21, between 5:45 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. 

Kearney Police say a Ram pickup drove onto Kearney Public Schools property at 417 E 6th Street, destroyed the trailer lock system and stole the trailer. 

The truck and trailer were last seen going west on 6th Street towards Central Avenue. 

The trailer had a black DeeZee toolbox mounted to the front right side of the trailer. The license plate on the trailer at the time it was stolen was a Nebraska School Vehicle plate 61566.

Anyone with information about the theft, the suspect vehicle or the whereabouts of the trailer is urged to contact Kearney Police Department Officer A. Hibberd at (308) 237- 2104 or Kearney/Buffalo County Crime Stoppers at (308) 237-3424. Tips can remain anonymous.
