Hastings resident Carla M. Stone, 72, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Bryan Medical Center West, Lincoln, NE.

 

Private Services will be held at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Private burial will be at Blue Valley Cemetery in Ayr. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.

 

Carla was born June 8, 1953, in Stromsburg, NE to Verland and Vivian (Willson) Peterson. She attended Benedict Consolidated Schools. Carla worked as a teller for Pinnacle Bank. She loved Hallmark movies, Danielle Steel books, and soap operas.

 

Carla was preceded in death by her parents and brother.
