Lancaster County crash leaves three in hospital

CENTERVILLE, Neb. - Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in rural Lancaster County Wednesday afternoon.
Southwest Fire and Rescue were dispatched to West Roca Road and Southwest 14th St. in Centerville, NE., about two miles north of Sprague and four miles east of Roca.
According to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup traveling north on SW 14th St. collided with a car heading east. NCN news partners 10/11 reported that the pickup flipped on its side and on top of the car with significant front-end damage.
LSO said the passenger in the pickup and two passengers from the car were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The two car passengers were wearing seat belts. It’s still under investigation whether the pickup passenger was wearing theirs.
