GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Rock bands, 90’s pop acts, a country band and a legendary Hispanic band will each perform at the Nebraska State Fair this summer.

The fair announced its outdoor concert lineup on Thursday. Country band Sawyer Brown, known for 17 top 5 country hits in the 80s and 90s, will perform a free show on Thursday, August 28.

“We want to thank all of our Nebraska State Fair fans by offering this show free with paid gate admission,” Executive Director Jaime Parr said. “We are so excited to have Sawyer Brown bring their country rock and roll to TD Landing.”

Modern rock bands Skillet and Theory of a Deadman will perform on Friday, August 29.

The Forever Young Tour will host a show on Saturday, August 30. The tour features Vanilla Ice along with O-Town, Ryan Cabrera, and LFO, hosted by Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC.

La Arrolladora Banda El Limon de Rene Camacho will close the outdoor lineup on Sunday, August 31.

The fair announced its indoor concerts on Wednesday.

Tickets for all concerts go on sale to the public Monday, March 24, at www.statefair.org, or at the Nebraska State Fair box office. All concert tickets include gate admission.

The Nebraska State Fair is utilizing all-in pricing where the advertised price is inclusive of taxes and facility fees. Pricing varies based on Etix service fees charged for online orders.
